Sagittarius about MY Sign...

Sagittarians have a positive outlook on life, are full of enterprise, energy, versatility, adventurousness and eagerness to extend experience beyond the physically familiar. They enjoy travelling and exploration, the more so because their minds are constantly open to new dimensions of thought. They are basically ambitious and optimistic, and continue to be so even when their hopes are dashed. Their strongly idealistic natures can also suffer many disappointments without being affected. They are honorable, honest, trustworthy, truthful, generous and sincere, with a passion for justice. They are usually on the side of the underdog in society they will fight for any cause they believe to be just, and are prepared to be rebellious. They balance loyalty with independence.

Sagittarians are usually modest and are often religious, with a strong sense of morality, though they tend to overemphasize the ethical codes they follow and worship beliefs about God rather than God Himself. This means that, negatively, they regard rigid, unloving, intolerant adherence to ritual and conventional codes as more important than the truths they symbolize or embody. They sometimes pay lip service to religions and political parties in which they have ceased to believe because the outward forms satisfy them, yet they may not hesitate to switch allegiance in politics or change their system of belief if they see personal advantage to themselves in doing so.

Sagittarians tends to aim their arrows of thought upward, being the incurable optimists of the zodiac. Sagittarians often looks at the sunny side of life and the silver lining to any dark cloud. Sagittarians are honest to a fault, for you can say what's on your mind before you realize that someone's feelings might be hurt. Since the Sagittarius is part horse, there is also a connection between Sagittarians and horses, be it a love of riding or an emphasis on the most powerful part of a horse: its legs and thighs. In fact, many of Sagittarians love outdoor hiking and long distance running.

They have both profound and widely ranging minds, equipped with foresight and good judgement, and they can be witty conversationalists. They love to initiate new projects (they make excellent researchers) and have an urge to understand conceptions that are new to them. they think rapidly, are intuitive and often original, but are better at adapting than inventing and are at their best when working with colleagues of other types of character that compliment their own. They are strong-willed and good at organizing, a combination that gives them the ability to bring any project they undertake to a successful conclusion. Their generosity can be balanced by their extreme care at handling their resources.

Sagittarians are ardent, sincere and straightforward in love, normally conventional and in control of their sexual natures. Yet if thwarted, they may easily allow their failure to embitter their whole lives or they may revenge themselves upon the opposite sex by becoming cynically promiscuous. They are more apt then the average to make an uncongenial alliance.

If their marriages are successful, they will be faithful spouses and indulgent parents; but their innate restlessness will inspire them to use even the most satisfying ménage as a base from which to set out on their travels. They need to fell free and are often faced with the choice of allowing their careers to take over their lives at the expense of the love of their spouse and family. Sagittarian women are the counterparts of their men; even if they have no career to rival their love, they find it difficult to express affection and may run the risk of being thought frigid.

In other personal relationships they are reliable, seldom betraying any trust given to them. They can, however, be impulsively angry and both male and female Sagittarians know how to be outspoken and exactly what expressions will hurt their adversaries most. On the other hand they are magnanimous in forgiving offenses and are responsible when looking after the elderly in the family.

Their gifts fit Sagittarians for a number of widely differing professions. They are natural teachers and philosophers with a talent for expounding the moral principles and laws which seem to explain the universe. This gift enables them to be successful churchmen on the one hand and scientists on the other. The law and politics also suit them, as does public service, social administration, public relations and advertising. Travel and exploration naturally appeal to such restless souls and, if their opportunities are limited, they may find something of travel and change of scene in the armed forces or through working as a travelling salesman. Others may make fine musicians and, in the days before automobiles, they were said to be successful at horse trading and all activities, including sporting ones, concerning horses. This has been translated in modern terms into an interest in cars and aircraft - and again with emphasis on the sporting side racing, rallying etc. They are said to make good sports coaches, but their tastes in this direction may lead them into imprudent gambling, though the gambling instinct may be sublimated by carrying it out professionally as a bookmaker.

The vices to which Sagittarians are prone are anger they tend to flare up over trifles; impatience - they want to rush every new project through immediately and demand too much of colleagues who cannot work at the pace they require; and scorn of the inadequacies of others while expecting fulsome recognition of their own efforts. They may in one sense deserve recognition, because in completing a major project they will sacrifice their health and family relationships; in their family's eyes they may merit condemnation.

They can be exacting, domineering and inconsiderate in the work place; and boastful, vulgar and extravagant in their private lives. Their restlessness, if excessive, can jeopardize more than their own stability. Some Sagittarians have risk to become playboys, wasting their lives away in frivolous pursuits. Others can develop a moralizing, religious fanaticism or else turn into hypocrites, their inner prudishness disguised by an outward appearance of joviality. Another side of the religiosity which is a danger in Sagittarians is superstition.

Have a super-gyroscopic balance and stability in any circumstance . . . navigate the waters of life in a true Relation—Ship

Ignorance may be bliss, but it is still ignorant . . . this is [not] to be without knowledge and wisdom, but to be simply ignoring it.

Ultimately the bliss of ignorance is an unrewarding and thankless bliss and not something that will evolve the Soul or expand the consciousness.

The circumstances of our worldly life often have us complaining of excessive stress, pressure, friction or tension. This is actually a fantasy . . . because all of these forces are in perfect balance and of equal amounts everywhere in the material universe. This material [binary] universe is actually held together by this perfect balancing act.

Since observation is everything in the 'Quantum' of timespace; the only [time] we will claim we have excesses of stress, pressure, friction, or tension in our [space]; is when our observation—our conscious opinion—has us locating outside this perfectly balanced point of our center. What therefore requires adjustment is our observation . . . "suffering is not in the fact, it is in the perception of the fact." Sri Amma Bhagavan

There can be no other answer in a perfectly balanced universe . . . which is the way it all is, or else it couldn't exist.
A relationship is a mirror reflecting a mirror . . . the possibilities, permutations and combinations are as endless as the reflective circle—literally infinite. The challenge to solution in relationship comes when you are locked on to a failing—but familiar—pattern of habit between yourself and the other . . . while dismissing the countless new, yet unfamiliar, solutions lurking just beyond the reflective view.

If you want to bring about a true change in any relationship, make a different choice inside yourself to engage some of these endless untried reflective possibilities.
In the reality of the Quantum, observation is everything . . . in an unmeasurable instant, observation creates expectation, creates appearance, which we assume is real and thereby manifests . . . right before our eyes and all without measurable time.

It is not real, it is maya—the grand illusion—but it must be mastered to pass to the next level of existence.

One of life's greatest purposes is therefore to "hack" the code behind this illusion and snap the "leash" of maya that binds you. Then spend your life running off leash to recreate "reality" as you would consciously choose.

This is liberation!
Liberation and forgiveness are equal partners in the business of human beings being human.

The word victim literally means to [hold on] and that's all.

When you commit to being you, you become a flow through, a transceiver . . . thereby removing all possibility of being a victim.
The map of life is contingent upon each moment . . . use the skills you've acquired to take the steps required to achieve the results desired . . . and relax in the midst of it all.

Another Fallen Tree

Communication is a full disclosure dialog . . . that is a two-way 'log' while being compassionate and not the least bit contemptuous.
Consistently and constantly evolve to where the mind is clear . . . here, the clarity can govern your world through inspiration, intuition and enthusiasm . . . rather than concern, struggle and frustration.

The global financial crisis is impacting every person in some way. But how'd this whole disaster start in the first place? This funky little video explains what happened in simple language and creative graphics. Its called "The Mortgage Banking Meltdown" and its produced by an e-learning company called Enspire.

What is your life's purpose as seen through the eyes of this day, this week, this month and this year?

What are you mastering today, this week, this month and this year?

Pleasure is a feeling sought on the outside—happiness is a state of being found within. Happiness is also a birthright encoded in the DNA of every human being. Constant awareness of this universal authority toward happiness is a key to being it.

Tuesday, November 18, 2008

When we enter the realm of our immortal authority and begin thinking through the higher centers of our wisdom brain . . . the overwhelm of life reduces down to child's play.
Conjure up all the original sensations of your vision, never be turned away by the twists and turns of the path . . . the river may bend, but water never loses sight of the ocean.

the beauty of the heart is the lasting beauty:
its lips give to drink of the water of life.

truly it is the water, that which pours,
and the one who drinks.

all three become one when your talisman is shattered.

that oneness you can't know by reasoning.

The word desire is made up of the two separate parts de and sire . . . 'de' means 'of'' and 'sire' is 'self'. Desire therefore means—of the self—but it also means to serve the self and this is not wrong.

To serve the self is not "self-serving" . . . it is not "selfish" and is not a bad thing at all. Get accustomed to doing it and you will find it gratifying and others will want to be around you.

When the emotional body is transfixed on an event that is no longer of service to you—use the power of commitment and the consistency of discipline to transpose, transmute, transform and recapitulate the event.
Nothing on a Caterpillar is as fragile and vulnerable as the Butterfly's wings, but nothing else on the Butterfly allows such spectacular freedom.

Learn the courage it takes to transform your 'self' into being this vulnerable and-at times—this fragile . . . then create the space in which this part of you is safe and able to flourish.

Freedom is pure-human-nourishment, and is an essential component of our success and fulfillment . . . evolve your Caterpillar into a Butterfly, your Tad-poll into a Frog.

Be you and be free!

As long as our story has someone else at fault, we are powerless to change the outcome.

From the UK's Sikh Student Camp. Great video with a great shabad and great pictures.
The only time a river is considered unacceptable is when it overflows the limits that humans have optionally placed on its banks . . . this flooding is certainly not unacceptable to the river, it is its power and right.

The only time your inspiration is considered unacceptable is when it surpasses the limits that other people have placed on you and your character . . . you overflow their acceptance.

Learn from the river. Learn when to become inspirationally unacceptable . . . have this kind of courage to run free and flood the world with your inspiration.
In a human life, the heart is to be in charge of the master-plan . . . while the head is to take charge of the route. When we get these two reversed—as is the case in a majority of the time—we get ourselves in deep trouble. The head in charge of the master-plan plays it safe, and never satisfies the heart's courageous dreams. And when the heart is in charge of only the route—small "petty" things become big deals, even deal breakers—mountains are inadvertently fabricated out of the little mole hills of life.
Deep meditation produces insight, an intuitive awareness that is capable of perceiving the way that things actually are, as opposed to how they appear to be. Learn to practice it daily . . .

Money has recently lost the trust of human receptivity and openness. A pure sense of purpose opens these channels . . . make your purpose for prosperity, the relief of all poverty.

Contribute to the wellness and oneness of our collective global psychology by praying and focusing on the open channels of human receptivity . . . with this comes peace and prosperity.
Today's "normal" is not normal!

It is as if an '18' wheeler (massive truck) was driven down a culdesac of civilization. You know it can't move forward, yet are perplexed as to how to turn it around.

At this point, thank GOD you are not "normal" . . . don't even try to fit in — you fit perfectly in you. And now more than ever the you in you is needed here . . . it is the one that is becoming the change we all require. Appreciate it daily . . .

Tuesday, October 21, 2008

Money—in its essence—is a sacred trust that measures the countless aspects of human value. Using money to measure this value is a priceless act with a natural sense of ease.

Money used to push away insecurity tries to accumulate wealth for safety . . . measuring money as safety eventually becomes worthless and bites back as an insatiable greed with an unnatural dis-ease.

We have seen this act out on the world stage over and over throughout time . . . this moment is no different . . . it's just now.

Re-create the sacred trust and again measure human life with value.

What and how we manifest our dreams in this world is affected most by the innate expectations of our deep subconscious mind . . . desires ride on the surface of our lives as far less productive sensations, and yet desires dictate what we want.

These two forces require a strong relationship with each other in order to manifest desires . . . they do not by nature have it . . . we therefore must set aside time (if only twenty minutes) for a consistent daily meditative practice to create this connection and manifest our dreams.

Sunday, October 19, 2008

Life is a gift we receive one breath at a time . . . with every breath we are also given the opportunity to express our gratitude for such a gift with powerful and positive actions.

External manifestations are equal to the innate expectations registered in our deepest unconscious psyche . . . desires on the other hand are equal to our experiential impulses. The two may, or may not have any relationship with or connection to each other . . . it is up to the consciousness to achieve this connection.

True freedom is living in the eternal NOW where the gratitude for what is, exceeds the desire for what might be. Goals under these conditions take on an entirely new dimension . . .

Tuesday, October 14, 2008

To produce a massive change in this world one either requires massive capital to create influence, or else one must acquire levitational strength.

Levitational strength counters gravity . . . gravity—by nature—pressures change and growth. Levitational strength can be found living dormant in the depths of the human meditative consciousness—peacefully and patiently waiting to be awakened.

It has been with us forever—a force beyond timespace—and awakening this dormant power must be one of the long term goals that every spiritual pilgrim aspires to. This will level the playing field on which the "Game" of life unfolds . . . this is part of the Next Evolution and carries us beyond this current realm of might determining right.

Create a little liberation every day with yoga, meditation, prayer and chanting.

Friday, October 10, 2008

Who runs your world . . . inner passion or outer circumstances?

To what degree does each hold the control?

Outer circumstances must be observed and respected, but then never allowed to become more than 49% of the control.

Take note of these circumstances—then use passion, compassion, intuition and intelligence to carry you forward on the path of your mission.
Every "thing" we take offense to we end up owning, and this is the last thing we want to do.

Therefore, choose to take NO offense, but take notice, and then compassionately take up the cause within the lesson that such an event is asking you to learn.
Unconscious illusion and numbed out delusion are the current states of humanity's collective course of errors.

Authenticity, still alive in the hearts of conscious individuals, will now experience heartache at what it perceives.

If you are one of these conscious ones experiencing such heartache; embrace the pain and let your fingers intuitively discover solutions as they wrap around the backside . . . this is not only imaginary, it is real in real-time. Take action on your solutions.

Wednesday, September 24, 2008

Acknowledge the future as a memory . . . set up your future in advance so that it welcomes your stepping from the present into its presence.

Tuesday, September 23, 2008

Whenever there is an imbalance within this perfect bio-material matrix of stress, pressure, tension and friction it becomes a functional weakness of the structure . . . a weakness that will be exposed through pain (physical, emotional, psychological or spiritual). To move beyond this structural imbalance into harmonic living, the pain must be passed through, experienced and decoded - but not avoided.
A true teacher in this new era—a leader of humanity [and] there will be many of them—is an instrument highly attuned to the elements and forces beyond timespace . . . transceiving and translating this vital information for benefit of all our residents of this timespace.

Wednesday, September 17, 2008

In the microcosm of life, in the details of time, things may appear overwhelming. With a higher view, from a mile up, things simply are what they are. There is always a path leading up to the way things are and a potential leading out. Clarity and awareness—from a mile high with an eagle's eye—allow us to retrace this pathway we've traveled into overwhelm. Conscious people are "re-tracers"— they re-track overwhelm back into a successful way—by committing to the path out of overwhelm and refusing to get stuck on the "way" in.
We cannot control the wind; we can control the angle of our sails to the wind. If we set these sails in life and the wind capsizes our boat, should we complain to the wind and remain stuck in the water, or should we give thanks to the lesson, learn it and move forward?

Thursday, September 11, 2008

Any time we place a price or condition on a friendship, it is not a ship at all . . . it's a canoe. You can't stand up in it!

Wednesday, September 10, 2008

When you get to a "WHY" in the road, take it. It relieves blindness . . .

Tuesday, September 09, 2008

One of the realities of our emotional pain; it dances ignoring-ly around who we truly are, while occupying emphatically who we attempt to be . . . be the true you in you and once over the initial shock, you will live your life more painlessly.

Sunday, September 07, 2008

Feelings are composite sensations, derived from glandular peptides and hormones secreted into the bloodstream during the course of daily living . . . a byproduct of the complex layering of emotions. They may be, or may not be accurate. They are not a god to follow blindly and it's therefore wise to free your 'Higher-Self' from its slavery to these feelings. Become an advocate of commitment . . . commitment overrides the inaccuracy of our feelings.
The animal's physical machine seeks pleasure using the tools of instinctual frustration and desperation. The human's physical instrument discovers happiness using the tools of intuition and intelligent inspiration. Master the human instrument . . . be well disciplined to recognize the difference.

Wednesday, August 27, 2008

Compared to the unknown adventures of expanding the consciousness, a comfort zone can soon become exceedingly uncomfortable.

Monday, August 25, 2008

Success is always tied to growth . . . growth must always enter into the unknown . . . therefore exploring this unknown with courage is essential to any success.

Friday, August 22, 2008

Whatever we believe either increases, reduces or removes our power and our will.

Thursday, August 21, 2008

The Next Evolution is Self-Realization, Mastery and Oneness . . . join the movement . . . this is your birthright, your destiny.

Be purposeful and resourceful like the Dutch claiming the land from the sea . . . when you open new growth-space one day, maintain it the next day, and the next day . . .

Monday, August 18, 2008

Manifesting dreams . . . humbly and deeply reach beyond this moment into the - if - and the - when - and then pull it into NOW.

Friday, August 15, 2008

Allow adoration to flow from your body cells to construct pathways of support within your intentions.

Thursday, August 14, 2008

Change is the only constant . . . not life threatening, but threatens life as we know it.

Wednesday, August 13, 2008

The passage of time is like an hour glass . . . the grains of sand are the moments passing through the narrows of NOW. The sand that has already fallen 'is the past' and the sand that is waiting to fall 'is the future'.

All of the sand—-just like all of time, past and future—-is always still existing; we simply have no equipment to perceive or register with it
.

This extra equipment is called intuition and it can be
learned/acquired and then trained.

Saturday, August 09, 2008

Friday, August 08, 2008

Pain is a resistance to the lessons of time . . . ease is a solution to disease. Simplistic but real . . . allow this to sink in to your core.

Monday, August 04, 2008

Embrace those things that hold you back, or else they will hold on tight until you do.
GOD calls in with every breath . . . when we ignore the phone we never get the call. Don't worry about the minutes, or the bill . . . it's a local call . . . just answer the phone.

Friday, August 01, 2008

Do not rely on every feeling you feel, or believe every thought you think, but re-center, re-align and re-focus your individual consciousness and emotions within the greater arc of the collective.

1st August

We are on the eve of a solar eclipse coming into our world August 1, in the astrological sign of Leo. There will be a corresponding lunar eclipse on the 16th of August upon the Leo-Aquarius axis. During these highly stimulated periods, our emotions will have a lot less natural discipline and a lot more convincing energy. It is up to us to discipline them and remember . . .

Thursday, July 31, 2008

Enable ourself to be healthy, happy, holy, strong, vital, safe and conscious to achieve goals, evolve mission and fulfill destiny with every breath, sip, bite-step, drive and flight we take in the company of loving people to remember our purpose in their presence.

Loving Parents..................................

It is very difficult to love your parents, I understand. The relationship is such that when a child is born the parents love the child -- it is instinctive. With the mother it is more so, because the father is not a natural phenomenon; it is just institutional. But the mother has an instinctive love towards the child. Not that she loves you -- there is no conscious decision about it, it is a natural pull just like gravitation. But the same pull does not exist from the child towards the mother; it cannot exist. It will exist from you towards your children -- that's the way the future is protected; that's a natural in-built mechanism to protect the future.

Your mother loved you, your father loved you... you will love your children, they will love their children. Nature is interested in the future, in the survival -- not in the past.

So there is no natural instinct for the child to love the mother. It has to be done with deep understanding. One has to be alert about it that it is just instinctive that the mother loves you and that it is also instinctive that you don't have any pull of that sort.

You can fulfil the duty, but if you don't have the pull, fulfilling the duty becomes ugly, so what is the way out? The natural pull is not there. You can force yourself unnaturally, but that is not good it kills your spontaneity and it makes you pretentious, and pretence is not good. Then what is the way out? The way out is to become more present.

Pretence is not the way, presence is the way... to become more alert about the situation -- that the mother carried you in her womb for nine months, that half of your being consists of your mother and half of your being consists of your father. You are here because of them: if they were not here you would not be here. All that is happening to you is, in a way, because of them.... One has to become aware of this.

And they have done much whatever they could do; more was not possible. Knowing well the type of persons they are, more was not possible so more cannot be expected. Whatever they did, that was all they could do -- they did their utmost. They have not been lacking, but they have a certain type of personality, they have a certain mechanism, and they are not meditators, so your responsibility becomes greater than their responsibility.

Whenever a person is in meditation, his responsibility is more than the person who is not in meditation, because more is expected from you -- existence expects more. It is almost like a man is walking on the road, drunk. You don't expect much -- if he goes to the wrong side, it's fine; if he sits just in the middle of the road, that too is all right. But you are not drunk. If you go to the wrong side, that is not acceptable: your responsibility is greater.

Exactly the same is the case with people who are not in meditation and they are living an almost mechanical life -- they may be your parents, may not be your parents; that is not the point. But you have entered a new life, you have entered in a new stream of consciousness, you have become a 'srotapanna'. Now your responsibility is greater... greater than ever! And you will not be able to forgive yourself if you do something irresponsibly.

This responsibility is not something that comes from the outside. Nobody can force anything on you, nobody is there to force. It comes from within; it is just your understanding that makes you responsible for many things. So just see the point: they are the type of people they are. Whatever they could do, they did -- to ask for more is meaningless. So whatever they have done you have to feel grateful for. And whatever is happening to you and will happen to you, they remain the causes. If some day you become enlightened, then you will have to feel grateful towards them. If you are breathing it is because of them, because they loved each other. If you are here, listening to me, it is because of them. They remain your foundation so don't forget the foundation, that's all.

It is not a duty, you cannot make it a duty. It cannot be a natural love, it can only be a compassion in deep understanding. I call it compassion. And when a child can feel compassion for his or her parents, great is the benefit for them and greater is the benefit for you. You will feel tremendously happy, at ease. You will feel very relaxed when you have carried out your responsibilities fully alert and aware.

So you just go and tell them and make them feel it is not only a question of telling: let them feel while you are there -- that they can depend on you, they can rely on you, that whenever the need arises you will be there. It's not a question of guarantee; it is guaranteed.

This time relate with them in a different way. Be more alert, look into your mother's eyes.... You may not have looked for years or you may not have looked at all. Nobody
looks into the mother's eyes -- a poor woman, she has lived a life but nothing much has happened to her. She may die without meditation, without prayer, without knowing anything of God. Feel for her, hold her hand, hug her! She is part of you, you are part of her! And in this way you can bring some new glimpse to them. Look into your father's eyes. Some day he will die and then there will be no
way to relate to him and you will miss him.

When a father dies, his death hurts very much -- not only as death. Death hurts naturally, but it hurts more when it is your father, because now there is nobody left to whom you can go and feel grateful, to whom you can go and do something that you always wanted to do, but you never did. Look into his eyes, hold his hand... do something for him! The death of the parents hurts more because now there is no chance to relate with them again. You will not be meeting them again ever. Life is so fragile! So whenever you are near your parents, remember one thing: they will die before you. You will be here for many years without them; then there will be no chance even to ask their forgiveness.

So don't miss this moment -- this time really be with them. Do something -- whatever you feel like doing -- feel for them, and maybe through your love, through your compassion, understanding, a new breeze enters their life, a new window opens. Talk about meditation; and they will ask you about it. They will see that you have changed, because you have never looked into their eyes, you have never been so loving, so understanding, so responsible... they will feel it! If they cannot feel it, then who will? The same life energy continues in you; you exist on the same wavelength. If they cannot feel then nobody can; they will be the first persons to feel. So let them feel what has happened to you, let them enquire,
talk to them, talk about me, take a few tapes. Sometimes meditate and tell them just to sit and see what happens. Let there be meditative energy in your home. One never knows -- a door can open any moment.

And they have been seeking the same joy that you are seeking, the same search has been there...perhaps unconsciously. Maybe they were not so fortunate and they couldn't find some key to open the locks, maybe they were trying to search but in the wrong direction --somehow it didn't happen. But if it has happened to you and is happening to you, take the message to them.

Concern

Concern is like a match—-it can light a process. Next step—-blow out the concern before it burns your fingers, then enthusiastically gather fuel for the process that you've lighted.

When I Am Reminded..............

Each day is a new beginning given by God
I am reminded how blessed I am as this road I tread.
A new friendship comes to mind and it is my treasure.
Watching a child at play is my greatest pleasure.
Being able to help a fallen soul will
be my greatest joy.
Watching a bird build a nest while the
world searches for rest.
I am reminded I am only a small part of his plan.
When skies are blue or gray you are always there beside me.
I am reminded of God's love at the site
of a rainbow after the rain.
When I see the flag I'm reminded of the
freedoms I share.
I remember God's love to me when I
suffer much pain.
As the clowns come to town I am grateful I'm able to laugh.
I'll share your heavy load to let you
know I care.
I am reminded day by day we have much to share.

Together............................

Together

I bow and I bow
because I don't know how
to do anything more
or less
than love you

I sit and I wait
because there's no where
to go without you
and now
is held only by a slender thread

I pray and I pray
for the day that you and I
become one, become we

Chant - Ek Ong Kar - for at Least 3 Minutes Daily to Clear the Brain

How to chant (Ek Ong Kar) the Ashtang Mantra

Begin by taking a full breath through the nose and Chant

Ek Ong Kar

Take another full breath through the nose and Chant

Sat Nam Siri

Now take a half breath through the nose and Chant

Wha - hey Guru

Take another full breath through the nose and begin the mantra again

Even though it is vastly more important what a mantra does physically than what it means mentally, the intellect always wants to know meanings — Ek Ong Kar means One Creator created the creation. Sat means life/truth and Nam means identity of life. Siri means great beyond description and Wahe Guru means — WOW infinite light comes from infinite darkness, the reality of the Cosmos.

The conscious mind relates to words and meanings. The sub-conscious and higher-conscious mind — which make up 95% of our mental body — relate to the symbols of imagery, and the sounds of melodies (ragas) and rhythms (taals). This is why art and music can move us at levels far deeper than any words can.

By chanting — over and over — the rhythmic sequence of these eight sound-beats, (EK ONG KAR SAT NAM SIRI WAHE GURU) the mind is entrained with this 8 = connection. There is a layering effect over the time that one chants this mantra, and eventually the big wheel of GOD runs the little wheel of self — appearing in our life as — THY will is MY will.

Chant this mantra to focus, structure, discipline and empower the mind.

Life Story

Pressure, friction, stress and tension are the bonding forces that hold the atoms and molecules of matter together . . . they will always be here as long as we are. Matter is the stage on which the play known as "Creation" unfolds.
How do you work with those forces that bond us . . . how do you handle the pressure, the friction, the stress and the tension? This is how your story is told.

OPR

When circumstances govern our lives—-life is seldom rewarding . . . we have become a passenger in 'OPR'—-'other people's realities'.

Character

In life we are consistently surrounded by a variety of characters . . . each one bringing lessons. It is never about the character with the lessons . . . it is always about the lessons in the character.

Human Life

"The purpose of the entire practice of all of human life is, when you breathe the breathe of life, you know that you are breathing it. You give it to Infinity as an offering. Then close your eyes, and say 'Wahe Guru' and be One. That act of that moment is the purpose of life."

Eat, Pray, Love

“…if you sit down with the pure intention to meditate, whatever happens next is none of your business. So why are you judging your experience?”

“Just as there exists in writing a literal truth and a poetic truth, there also exists in a human being a literal anatomy and a poetic anatomy. One you can see; one you cannot. One is made of bones, teeth and flesh; the other is made of energy and memory and faith. But they are both equally true.”

“…the rules of transcendence insist that you will not advance even one inch closer to divinity as long as you cling to even one last seductive thread of blame. As smoking is to the lungs, so is resentment to the soul; even one puff of it is bad for you…”
